Blessed Damien Prayer

At the close of every Mass in the Moloka'i Catholic Community, we pray the prayer for our Blessed Damien Church of Moloka'i.

Lord Jesus, You are the living cornerstone of God our Father, and You call us to worship in Spirit and Truth. We ask You to hear us in our time of need, as we strive to build a house of prayer for us, your people, your living church, in the name of Blessed Damien, servant of Moloka'i. Guide us in our attempts, open the pathways of hope, lift us up in times of weariness and share our joys.

Recalling the promise of your Holy Scripture, we seek to always delight in you Lord, commit our ways to you and trust in you, that you may look with favor on our hearts' request, to build a house of prayer for us in the name of Blessed Damien.

We will always sing songs of praise, tell the stories of our salvation and share a sacred meal now, and in our new house of worship, the Blessed Damien Church of Moloka'i.

We ask this in your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
